Art Camps
Art camps are a means for us to reach out to the society – specially the underprivileged children and create a bond. We have organized several such camps & experienced the joy it brings in these children.
Paintings by Participants
Wherever we went we experienced that the children are naturally at home with the colours and are quite expressive too! They normally love to play with the colours and this possibly makes them very easy going. Working with them is a real pleasure. It brings a ton of freshness in your mind.
Find here some samples of the arts created by our little masters.

Our 1st Camp - Rani Bhavani Child Care Centre
“Art is an effective medium of self-expression”, which through colours and drawings can help one to be more innovative and expressive as they grow older. We started our journey on this idea and it is our first camp. This is a home for underprivileged children- the ones who do not get the privileges all other children get easily. We found them very interested about art, quite spontaneous and eager to learn. Through this camp we experienced the high need for doing these kind of activities for our society.

Bolpur
The name “Bolpur” brings an aura of love in the minds of artistically inspired people of Bengal. This is where the great poet Rabindranath Tagore established his famous “Viswa Bharati University”- considered a a temple of art and culture. We organized the camp on 25th November, 2018 in Bharat Sevashram Sangha near Bolpur. More than 100 residential students of the ashram participated in the camp. They all are from the poor rural families from villages around. All of them were very joyful and were enthusiastically waiting for our arrival. A feeling of fulfilment filled our hearts in working with them.

Basirhat - Sangrampur
It was our 2nd camp for the Children’s Art Education Movement. This is a quite remote & rural area of the West Bengal. The participating children were from very poor families & they have not even seen colour pencils earlier. They were very joyful on getting their hands on these colours & their joy came out through their paintings. Their joy literally went out of bounds when they came to know that they can retain the colour pencils and need not return them. Seeing that smile on those little faces are no less than any divine experience!

Ma Sarada Seba Kendra
This is our fifth Art Camp, organized at Ma Sarada Ramakrishna Pathamandir. This is an ashram, inspired by the values and teachings by Swami Vivekananda. They organize classes for the students from economically weaker families. Along with the regular subjects they also expose them to art. We were highly impressed with their eagerness towards art and their eagerness will drive us organising many more of such camps.
