Art Connect Foundation was born in 2017 through the efforts of a group of former students of Visual Arts department of Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, out of the urge to pursue their passion of creativeness and presenting their arts to the society. We believe that art is a very strong medium and its various forms can be effectively used to connect with all.

Out of this urge to connect with the society we started organizing art camps for rural and underpriviledged children. We experienced the joy these art camps brought them. It also strengthened our belief and resolve that we can do much more for them. We are also organising art exhibitions by showcasing the creations of our members and a portion of the sales proceeds go towards our social activities. We are sure your active support we can go forward in achieving this goal.

Our Focus

Art Exhibitions

We organize several art exhibitions of the paintings and sculptures created by our members. Our aim is to present our works to a more viewers. Appreciation from the viewers serves as the fuel which propels us to create more. These exhibitions also give us opportunity for connecting with the society at large and create awareness. A portion of the proceeds from these exhibitions also help us for organizing our other activity – Art Camps for underprivileged children.

Art Camps

We have a strong desire to establish a bond with the society with our art. Through the exhibitions we can reach out to a greater mass. However, a section of the society , the underprivileged children, usually remains left out.

We reach out to them. We organize art camps for these children going to their schools and homes and provide all necessary materials during these camps. We hope their inner artist will also bloom one day.

Upcoming Project

School for Underprivileged Children & Handicraft Camps for Adults

We have taken up an ambitious project to build a school for the underpreviliged children. One of our members, Mr. Raj Kumar Manna has kindly donated a piece of land to build this school. We are highly thankful to him for his gesture and help.

We also plan to introduce Handicraft Workshops for adults from the underpreviliged section of the society. These workshops will be focussed towards making of different articles which has a commercial value in the market and will bring them an effective means to earn money for their livelihood.

These projects require considerable amount of funds. We appeal to all to come forward and help us generously to achieve our goal.
